Summer Treat Recipe For Your Dog

Frozen Watermelon & Yogurt Treats

 Ingredients:
- 2 cups seedless watermelon, chopped
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt

Instructions:

1. **Prepare the Watermelon:**
- Remove the rind and seeds from the watermelon.
- Chop the watermelon into small chunks.

2. **Blend:**
- Place the watermelon chunks in a blender and blend until smooth.

3. **Mix with Yogurt:**
- In a bowl, combine the blended watermelon with the plain Greek yogurt. Mix well to ensure the watermelon is evenly distributed.

4. **Pour into Molds:**
- Pour the mixture into silicone molds, ice cube trays, or small paper cups.

5. **Freeze:**
- Place the molds in the freezer and freeze for at least 4 hours or until fully frozen.

6. **Serve:**
- Once frozen, pop the treats out of the molds and serve them to your dog as a refreshing summer snack.

Tips:
- Make sure the yogurt is plain and unsweetened, without any added sugars or artificial sweeteners, especially xylitol, which is toxic to dogs.
- You can also add a tablespoon of honey if you want a touch of sweetness, as long as your dog isn't allergic.
- For added variety, you can substitute the watermelon with other dog-safe fruits like blueberries, strawberries, or bananas.

These frozen treats are perfect for keeping your dog cool and hydrated during the hot summer months. Enjoy!
